the penthouse

a quintessential cali day... stunning view of the pacific ocean and santa monica. i only wish you could've been there and seen how beautiful it really was. this is the penthouse restaurant at the huntley hotel in santa monica beach. wrapped-around glass windows, vast skylight opening (you literally can feel the ocean breeze!), rich patina finish on mirrors, golden mosaic tiles... perfectly balanced with pure white accents. they all reflect the space and light so harmoniously. makes me want to go back at sunset just to see the colors!
