vermont, chapter four
... what a quaint little town. we've driven by woodstock many a time but for some reason, had never stopped, until this recent trip. you may remember me tweeting or posting this picture of simon pearce / the mill, but this is exactly what i envision when i think of vermont. just simple, cozy, and full of local personality.
ps. coincidentally, woodstock is also featured in october's "favorite place" in travel + leisure magazine!

... what's not to love about impromptu road trips? and taking in the scenery and snapping away? i have got to say, one of my favorite moments was capturing the red barn with my (very willing) model. she was a natural!PHOTOGRAPHY BY PEGGY WONG

... and change of view. you may notice a {slightly} new look to the blog. even though the design has morphed into what it is now, i've always had the same mist flower shot as the header (my very first post was on january 15, 2009!). it holds a special place in my heart because it was the image that i had on the bluepoolroad homepage when i launched the business, and that too, has evolved. but it's time for a change... so here we go! thanks for reading, commenting, and just being there. have a great weekend everyone! xx
ps - took this shot during my recent trip back east. farmers' market on a gorgeous sunday in new hampshire.

... a grey day on the lake, but i do love how soft + silvery these shots came out. never been to this part of lake george before – a suggestion by a friendly stranger who dined across from us at a local restaurant – gotta love those moments. and what a great little tucked away place it turned out to be.
ps. here's a snapshot of the lake i took with my camera phone at nightfall.PHOTOGRAPHY BY PEGGY WONG
... i'm back! the first photo i took as i landed at the albany airport. hence, the start of my {end of summer} travelogue. will be editing photos like crazy for the next few days, so stay tuned! spending time with family back east was exactly what i needed. took lots of road trips and indulged on delicious regional favorites along the way. thank you mom + dad for a wonderful time (and stopping on the road whenever i needed to take a picture!) miss you already.PHOTOGRAPHY BY PEGGY WONG
