pw.travelogue » ch. 30, europe in black and white

[chapter 30 / europe in black and white] before my european holiday from last year, there was the original european holiday twelve years ago. and before there was my canon 5d mark II, there was the canon ae-1. i forget how much i love shooting with black and white film... thought i would scan in a few of my prints and share them with you.

this was my very first trip to europe back in 2000 – spent three weeks traveling through prague, budapest, venice, florence, and rome. don't think i could ever forget that overnight train ride from budapest to venice. the most breathtaking views of mountains and castles under the moonlight. just spectacular.

  1. Beautiful! Except for Venice, they are all destinations I went to and loved. Black and white photography has the power to transmit emotions in a much deeper way.
